01 / THE PROBLEM

The work
behind the interface.

Maintenance information is split between work orders, reports, calendars, and the next shift’s handoff. A team needs a clear view of what can proceed, what is waiting, and what needs attention.

The approach

Organize the display around four working views. Keep critical work visible, distinguish readiness from holds, and carry vendor and handoff details alongside performance measures.

Inside the project.

CAPABILITIES & DESIGN DECISIONS
01

A view for each decision.

Move between the daily overview, six KPI panels, the vendor calendar, and the workboard.

02

Work states that keep their meaning.

Show ready work, waiting-on-parts work, facility holds, unscheduled items, and overdue examples as distinct conditions.

03

Understand the visit.

Open sample vendor events for their time window, host, location, and access details. All-day visits and unconfirmed times remain distinct.

04

Inspect the numbers.

Switch sample reporting weeks, compare periods, and open metric definitions. Displayed figures demonstrate the interface rather than measured customer results.

THE PRACTICAL PRINCIPLE

A useful operations display makes the next decision easier.
